BAAP OF AI ("the App", "we", "our") is an AI-powered daily news application developed by Neurera. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. We have written this in plain language because you deserve to understand exactly what is happening with your data — no legal fog.

This Privacy Policy is part of our Terms of Service. By accepting these Terms you accept both documents.

We collect the minimum required to run the app. Nothing more.

The anonymous device ID and usage data are used exclusively for:

Counting daily active users — understanding how many people use the app each day.
Counting new vs returning users — tracking growth over time.
Counting total opens per day — measuring engagement patterns.
Improving content scheduling — ensuring news is fresh when you open.

We do not use your data for advertising targeting, user profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond the above. Your data is never sold or rented.

The App uses the following services. Each operates under its own privacy policy. Your device ID is not shared with AI providers.

Each news story in the App includes a link to its original source. Tapping this link opens the third-party website in your device's default browser. Once you leave the App, we have no control over the privacy practices or content of those external sites.

On confession mode stories (shown when Gemini is unavailable), the source link redirects to the official BAAP OF AI Instagram page instead of a news source, as no real news sources are referenced in fictional content.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any external website you visit through the App. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or data practices of third-party websites.

Anonymous analytics data is stored in Supabase cloud servers. All data transmitted between the App and our backend uses HTTPS encryption.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third party beyond the services listed in Section 05.

Local device cache is cleared daily automatically. You can remove all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the App.

Anonymous analytics data — retained indefinitely for long-term usage trend analysis. Since it is not linked to any identity, it cannot be attributed to you personally.

Local device cache — news cache cleared daily automatically. Ad timestamp and last-open date persist until the App is uninstalled.

Notification schedule — stored on device only. Cleared when the App is uninstalled or notification permission is revoked.

Information is our job. Understanding is yours.

Users are responsible for independently verifying information before relying on it for personal, professional, or financial decisions.

Confession mode content is entirely fictional satire generated by Groq. It does not represent the actual positions, statements, or capabilities of ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek, or their respective companies.

BAAP OF AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used the App, please contact us at the address in Section 13 and we will take appropriate action.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the following rights:

Since all data is tied to a randomly generated device ID and not to your identity, we are unable to retrieve or delete data for a specific individual without the device ID being provided. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
